The link to support.google.com in the error message should give you some good pointers. :-)

Basically, Google considers SMTP AUTH to be insecure, since there's no two-factor authentication available on it. So in order to use their SMTP server, you need to set up an application-specific password on your account for email (it's a separate password from your normal Google password, and can only be used in specific places, such as SMTP and IMAP).  The linked article in the error message should give you details how to set it up.

I installed latest stable release of Bugzilla v5.0.6 and configured it to send email alerts via Gmail but it gives error, screenshot is attached. Can someone help me identify what the issue is and how to correct it?



P.S.: I have updated the correct details in params.json file as mentioned in documentation and my send from email address and password are correctly entered in the params.json file.
