Bugzilla not sending email alerts via Gmail

The link to support.google.com in the error message should give you some 
good pointers. :-)

Basically, Google considers SMTP AUTH to be insecure, since there's no 
two-factor authentication available on it. So in order to use their SMTP 
server, you need to set up an application-specific password on your 
account for email (it's a separate password from your normal Google 
password, and can only be used in specific places, such as SMTP and 
IMAP).  The linked article in the error message should give you details 
how to set it up.
