Hi Everyone.
We run Bugzilla 5.0.4 on Red Hat 7.9 using Oracle for the bugs database. I
am trying to upgrade to Bugzilla 5.2 on Red Hat 8.10. When I run
checksetup.pl it ends Perl compile error. I am confident the settings for
$db_driver, $db_host, $dbname, $db_user and $db_pass are all correct.
Here is the output I am seeing:
** terminal output **
Checking for mod_version (any) ok
Reading ./localconfig...
Checking for DBD-Oracle (v1.19) ok: found v1.95
There was an error connecting to Oracle:
'oracle' is not a valid choice for $db_driver in localconfig: Base
class package "-norequire" is empty.
(Perhaps you need to 'use' the module which defines that package first,
or make that module available in @INC (@INC contains: .
lib/x86_64-linux-thread-multi lib /usr/local/lib64/perl5
/usr/local/share/perl5 /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl
/usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib64/perl5 /usr/share/perl5).

Compilation failed in require at (eval 593) line 1, <DATA> line 755.
This might have several reasons:
* Oracle is not running.
* Oracle is running, but there is a problem either in the
server configuration or the database access rights. Read the Bugzilla
Guide in the doc directory. The section about database configuration
should help.
* Your password for the 'myuser' user, specified in $db_pass, is
incorrect, in './localconfig'.
* There is a subtle problem with Perl, DBI, or Oracle. Make
sure all settings in './localconfig' are correct. If all else fails, set
'$db_check' to 0.
** terminal output end **
With kind regards, -Randy
