This is not a topic for BZ devs, but for the owners of the products.

After you left, I said in the chat:

For Bugzilla itself, I see 1116 open reports that are not of the type 
enhancement, so it is maybe not that big of a mass to warrant automated 
pings.

We do automated pings for LibreOffice, but we have like 10k bug reports.
