Agreed, which is why we alternate background colors in bug lists to 
differentiate between consecutive bug rows.  I'm open to other uses of 
color, but I don't find mantis's implementation 
<http://www.mantisbt.org/mantis/view_all_bug_page.php> particularly 
compelling.
