"Bugzilla is Down" after doing Edit Parameters?

>From my perspective, this is problematic and should be changed to require a
specific message such as "TURN OFF BUGZILLA" in the text box - otherwise, it
should leave Bugzilla up/running. Any accidental keystroke in that field
would shut Bugzilla down and it may take an administrator a significant
amount of effort, as it did for Joseph, to figure out how to fix it the
first time it happens to him/her. Something else we could/should do is any
time there is something in a field like that one or the user disable field,
we should ask the person making the change to confirm they really want the
promised result, especially for something as significant as disabling the
entire Bugzilla installation.

Joseph - you may want to look at the Bugzilla Bug database on the link at
http://www.bugzilla.org/ to see if a bug has been filed for just this very
thing and if not, go ahead and file one.

Go back to the edit parameters page (for me, this is something like
http://localhost/bugzilla/editparams.cgi) and look at the shutdownhtml
parameter. If ANYTHING exists in this field, then bugzilla will say it's
disabled. Remove the contents of this field.

PS: I'm assuming your using 2.18 or something very similar.

Subject: "Bugzilla is Down" after doing Edit Parameters?

I logged into my Bugzilla 2.18 and went to the Edit Parameters screen, where
I made some changes/updates. I clicked the button to save my changes and
there was a note (I think) saying that Bugzilla would be shut down to make
the changes...

Now when I go to my Bugzilla Start page, I am shown a page that says
"Bugzilla is Down" and it shows the message I modified from the Edit
Parameters screen. I didn't think Bugzilla itself ran any services/daemons.
I restarted MySQL, then restarted Apache, and finally I rebooted my Linux
box entirely. I still get the same "Bugzilla is Down" message.

How in the f*&%$# do I 'restart' Bugzilla? Any help is appreciated.

Thank you in advance,
