We have something almost identical: 'Version' became 'Version w/defect' and
we added a new field 'Version w/fix'.
That doesn't say where the fix has been installed, though. (Our company
doesn't do 'general products' -- most of our software is custom built for
one customer who may have many installations.) We have been keeping track of
this information in the bug itself, but we plan to use flags to make it
easier. Something like this:
installed-Singapore ?
installed-DC
installed-Hawaii +
installed-Pune ?
This nomenclature would mean that the fix has already been applied to the
site at Hawaii, but still needs to be applied to Pune and Singapore. DC does
not need the fix (for whatever reason).
I hope this helps!
