Yes, but if I create a custom field with a label "Type" and values 
"Enhancement" "Defect" "Task" "Meta" "Question" and "Feature" and start 
using it, there will be a cf_type field in the database. When bug 9412 
gets resolved there would be a "Type" field with a type field in the 
database. What would I expect to do there (probably migrate my field 
into the new supported one)?

Max appears to suggest at the end of 9412 that Type should be a custom 
field that ships with bugzilla.
