What kind of home page for Bugzilla?

I agree - that is a very nice opening page.  I think it would require us to add a new table, newsitems (or something like it) with dates to display certain items (start/stop).  I also think it would be wise for us to display certain news items to users who have not been to the site before (new user info, etc), and to those that are not currently logged in (that have been to the site before).
