Release timing

But we've just released on January 16th. So why are the dates not 
January 16th and July 16th?

That's cool, but in getting into this system, we appear to be lined up 
for two releases closer together than six months.

What's so special about May and November which means we have to release 
then? Why not get straight into the 6-month system, and advertise 
January and July?
