Documentation for the release

That's been almost the entirety of what Shane, Jake, and Vlad have been 
working on for the last 2 months or so.  We're so far behind on docs 
it's not funny (and we're light-years ahead of where we were two months 
ago).  If we held the release to have the docs up-to-date, you're 
talking about delaying the release by at least another month, minimum.
