According to the webcvs branch Rel-1_42 includes revision 1.31 of qoute.c
which should be ok. So I suppose that 1.42 and earlier version don't
suffer from this bug.

Well, I think yes it does. DBD::Pg just sends some garbage in SQL
statement.

I don't know. There seems to be no published roadmap on the site or in the
mailing list. All I can tell is that the fix for this bug was commited on
Aug, 9th (rev. 1.35 of qoute.c). You can ask on their list

information.
