Checksetup may fail once on upgrade, if you're tracking CVS

	If you've been tracking CVS very carefully, recently (that is, updating
every day or every few days), when you upgrade soon you *may* notice the
following error being printed by checksetup and it will die:

Error reading ./data/params: Permission denied

	This has to do with some strange complexities of bugs that we fixed.
Running checksetup again should fix this.

	If you *haven't* been tracking CVS closely, and you upgrade to a recent
CVS build and you get this error, please let me know.
