Which is why we're using it.  bugzilla.mozilla.org is hacked to disabled 
all mail to @*.bugs, so we use it for "role" accounts that multiple 
people watch.  The part where the * is usually gets replaced by the 
product name, and the component goes in front.  (Poor man's component 
watching until we have a real way to do it, really)
