2.17?

Hey, guys-

Looks like a couple of bugzilla 'core' folks were looking for me and aes
last night to discuss b.g.o moving to 2.17 instead of 2.16. And of
course we totally missed each other, since I was on the plane and I
suppose aes was still recovering from exams. :) 

What's the situation? Greg mentioned specific features you think will
help us upgrade... I'd been listening for such things but had missed
them :) What specific things did you have in mind? I personally would
definitely love lots of the stuff that is in 2.17, but I think aes had
thought (and I agreed, since I'm not doing the work, he is) that the
delta was big enough that we'd have to throw out most of our current
work to do it.

Anyway, if you guys want me involved, email might be better for this
conversation, since I'll be basically in IRC today and then not again
until next Monday, the 26th.
