MySQL improvements

I know this will miss your presentation, but I wonder if the latest
version of MySQL can do scheduled tasks and emailing? Most popular db's
can do both. It would be a nice feature to move the emailing to the
realm of the DB instead of the internal bugzilla system have to
interface to sendmail or some such configuration. This way bugzilla
could be agnostic about emailing, while the sys admin simply configures
the db appropriately.

Anyway, that was just a thought off the top of my head.

I often found that updating the bug was slow in returning. Might be the
email sending, but I am sure that option is set off on the main
bugzilla.org configuration.
