Re-generating data for Charts

Would it be somehow possible to merge the non-complex
data from the old charts to the new charts?

My specific problem is, that I have a product with components,
which has open and closed bugs.
But when I run the new charts over them, I always get a count
of zero. Seems, that no data has been collected for the standard
queries ("All open", "Resolved", etc.)
