Dave,

The next time you bring it up, if folks still can't come to a consensus, 
I suggest you just decide what 3.0 means and move on.  After all, not 
deciding is the same as deciding on the status quo (i.e. no 3.0 in the 
foreseeable future), which is just as controversial as the other options.
