I totally agree with you. Not everyone using Bugzilla needs a test case
management system. TestRunner should be some kind of optional add-on or
plugin.

Well, I didn't find the interface that confusing, maybe because I've
used other test case management applications in the past, or maybe I'm
accustomed to the jargon.

Thanks, this is the first time I heard of Litmus. Anyway, testrunner is
a finished product (well, as finished as any software product can be),
it
works, and does everything I ask to this kind of tool. I think I'm gonna
stick with it and propose it as the test case tool for our department.
