Custom fields

I agree with this approach.  We could even add a few "empty" field types 
that can be configured/named/turned on via templates.  That is the way 
the help-desk software we use at work works and is fairly common among 
other networking apps I've worked with (such as Microsoft's Active 
Directory, although configured is very limited).

That would allow us to allow admins to create custom fields while still 
keeping things under control because we would only provide a limited 
number of these empty fields.

It would also be applicable to bmo... I mean are the OpSys and Platform 
fields really useful to the Bugzilla product?  And they're even less 
useful to the mozilla.org product!
