How doed non-ascii (well, non ISO-8859-1) text work? Comments on the TT list suggest that that needs perl 5.8, but I havne't tested. The TT Template::Plugin::Date plugin can be passed a locale param in TT v2.08. That uses the POSIX stuff, though; we may want to use Date::Format instead. Bradley
