And I think that is the key consideration. As despicable as Oracle's 
behavior is, IMO, the impact of dropping support for from Bugzilla would 
fall most heavily on Bugzilla users, not on Oracle.

If the goal is to send a message and apply pressure to Oracle to get 
them to do the right thing then I suggest doing just that: a public 
written statement (from the Mozilla foundation? Bugzilla lead?) along 
the lines of "happy to have supported Oracle's database in the past but 
strongly disagree and urge them to reverse course" etc, would achieve 
the same effect without the risk of making Oracle-running Bugzilla users 
pay the price.
