As a user (web surfer) I have this comment on this:
I absolutely hate when the web server forces a decision like this on me.
If the line is too long for me, I simply drag the edge of the browser window
narrower and the problem is fixed in split second.
With your way it either takes months or an eternity do one single change.
I prefer the split second solution.
Or at least give the user a choice.
