bad formatting when entering a comment from firefox 3

Has anybody else noticed this or is this something possibly wrong with
our particular build (some CVS trunk revision from sometime, it
identifies as 3.3)?
When entering a comment with a large paragraph worth of text, Firefox 3
seems to insert newlines at the end of every line before submitting the
text to the bugzilla server. The server then splits every line at the
last word before X chars (I don't remember the exact number), resulting
in a comment that looks like the sample at the end.
My questions are:
1. Has anybody else noticed this?
2. Is there anything I can do about it?
3. Is there a bug in bmo somewhere for it?
4. Is it getting fixed for the next version of Firefox (I haven't tested
it in other browsers, the only one I noticed the problem in is Firefox
though)?
5. If it is a known issue, was there already a patch to work around it
in Bugzilla (it doesn't seem to be happening on landfill)?
