modify milestone for multiple products

Hi.

I'd like to be able to add the same milestone to multiple products. I 
briefly looked at Bugzilla::WebService::Product, but all of the routines 
are marked as "unstable". What is the best programmatic way to add 
milestones? (Is adding directly to the milestones table ok?)

More info:
	Bugzilla version 3.02 with approx 20 products

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
