	I think there's a patch pending review, or I'm waiting for
somebody to put up something that's closer to the simple API I wanted.
(I'm not looking at the bug right now, just saying what I remember off
the top of my head.) If there's a patch pending review, you're free to
look it over and give your suggestions (but prefix them with the fact
that you're not an official reviewer), and otherwise you're free to
write something. :-)
