I've made some hacks to bonsai (which shares database formats with viewcvs2, I believe) so that Bugzilla can create a URL for bonsai's query.cgi with ?bug=xxxxx and bonsai shows the checkins that have comments mentioning that bug number. It's pretty hacky, but someone could build on it if they like.
