Mozilla even forks Bugzilla from the upstream version now.  See 
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/CUSTOMIZATIONS/

That directory of patch files isn't exactly small. :)

Several of those are things that are definitely Mozilla-specific, and 
probably nobody else would ever have a use for them, so it's not 
appropriate to port them upstream.  Others are things that are hacky 
ways to do something that probably would be done upstream if someone 
patched it, but really need to be done in a much cleaner way if it gets 
distributed.
