Increasing Target Milestone field length

Hello,

Fimasys (http://www.fimasys.com) is using Bugzilla for several years 
now, as our internal bugs, enhancement and tasks tracking system, and we 
have to say that we are more than happy as it always answered to our needs.

But recently, it comes out that 20 characters to store the target 
milestone is not enough to meet our version numbering normalisation.
We would like then to change the size of the field to 65 characters, as 
version field.
Is there any risk doing so?
Do I have to change something in the code (except I suppose the Target 
Milestone update/creation pages)?
