Bugzilla email gateway ...

I understsnd that there is a so-called Bugzilla email gateway, but I 
have been unable to find much (detailed) information about it.

The reason I am asking is because I would like to use our cvs 
notification emails, extract the relevant information from the body 
text, and pass it on to Bugzilla to be added automatically as an 
additional comment to the associated bug.

Is this possible, and if so what is the best way to accomplish this?
