Developing Bugzilla patches is frustrating

Hi,

in the last months I have developed several patches for Bugzilla, which
I personally believe to be useful. All patches are properly submitted to
the relevant bugs. So far not one made it into the trunk.

Reasons are varying. In one case, the patch's still waiting for review.
In other cases review was denied, mostly for very formal reasons.

Being a committer of several other open source projects, I know the
typical problems of a committer very well. In particular, I accept the
importance of educating the user. (Me, in that case.) However, even
considering this, I cannot fight the feeling that the Bugzilla
committers are particularly resistent.

Sorry, but it seemed about time to drop that note.

Jochen
