This would be the manual approach.

It is possible however to have a tool automatically detect and report
the build a bug was fixed in if the repository is integrated with
bug-tracking (the build dates --- read: tags --- are needed for this).
We're adding this feature in the Scmbug VDD
generator(http://bugzilla.mkgnu.net/show_bug.cgi?id=80) supporting
Bugzilla.
