I have Arch integration planned too, after a version description
document generator is implemented and, inherently, a few things are
redesigned. I see value in autogenerating release documents by running a
script, rather than manually draft those each time.
There are some limitations in existing SCM systems(CVS mostly) that make
this difficult to handle generically at the moment (specifically
http://bugzilla.mkgnu.net/show_bug.cgi?id=436). SCM systems need to
become a little more aware of the need for integration. But so do
bug-trackers; specifically providing a field that stores the SCM
username to assist in an SCM to bug-tracker username translation.
