patch list filled by email

Hi,

i've just installed bugzilla 2.17.7 on a machine, great work ;-)
Now i'm wondering about the email format from cvs to bugzialla:
Adding a comment to a bug is not really a problem, but adding the diffs 
doesn't work. I've got no idea so that bugzilla puts the diffs into the 
attachment list as a patch ;-(

anyone an idea?
