I read it... mostly agreed. The custom fields in all of my installations 
are always required on the analysis side and not on the entry side. The 
main reasons for keeping things simple are valid for bug entry, but 
totally fall apart for prioritizing and allocating development resources.

Another frequent complaint that causes the need for more fields deals 
with broad-based multi-platform compatibility.

Custom fields aren't for everyone, but the arguements are not strong 
enough to suggest that they are for nobody.
