Question about grey backgrounds in searches.

Hi,

I have sucessfully added in Customer and Customer Contact fields into a
v2.17.6 installation. I can enter and seach by customer and contact. I have
just noticed that on some buglist.cgi lists, there are bugs with grey
backgrounds that dont seem to be included in my search.....why ? Whats the
significance of the grey background ??
