Hi folks,
Christian - thanks for the help on adding data into new fields in the
database. I had forgotten to create a hidden variable on the HTML to pass
my Customer data into the Post_bug.cgi script. All working now :)
Now comes the final piece of the puzzle. Modifying the query code so I can
search on it.
I have got it so that the buglist.cgi script is called with "
&customer=TestCustomer" in the URL.....but the Search.pm code seems to
ignore it. I have added this "customer" field into the fielddefs table, so
I would assume that it would parse this and query against it.
So my question - are there any tricks that are needed to be able to search
new fields ??
Mat
