Looking for Bugzilla RockStars

This may be the wrong email list to distribute to but hopefully one of you can point me in the right direction.

I'm looking into building a new bug-tracking/release management system from the ground up and am considering Bugzilla as a key component. Building this system will require additional permanent and contract staffing and consultation.

I'm looking for engineers/consultants who have been there/done that with Bugzilla to help design, deliver and support a leading edge system for Amazon.com. Any help pointing me at people/firms would be greatly appreciated.

Amazon is already 100% linux and most development is done in Perl/Mason (Presentation) with Java/C++/WebServices/Messaging on the backend/middle. Many of our packaging, deployment apps are based on opensource or are developed internally today.

Regards,

Matt

I think that sounds very sensible.

Of course, I think that one of the things that we're running into is that new_bug can be called from an arbitrary state, and some of the defaults are product/component dependent. However, many defaults are global and could (and should) be set in new_bug(). :-)
