minor help required

I've just parallel installed 2.17.6 next to our 2.16 install. I had 
heavily modified the db, templates and some code to add additional fields.

What I need to understand is how to use the new custom field form. The 
patches are all installed, working and happy...

I just don't know how to use the darn thing :)

How do I create an enum type like :
client_flash : enum('All','FP5','FP6','FP7','other')
