No, summary/whiteboard markings, meta bugs, keywords and flags.

There's only one niche to occupy, with the possible exception of +/-
designations, but even that shouldn't warrant a wholly different system.

If you're finding yourself looking to use a different system, you've
found yourself a situation in which the systems actually designed for
this (keywords/flags) aren't doing what they should, and hence an RFE.
One system that supports all the needed functionality is going to be far
better than 4 that kind of support bits of it.

There's no point throwing up your hands and saying it can't be done.  It
can be done, and the RFEs have been in the system for quite a while.  We
can unify this mess within our lifetime, if we have the will.
