C API for Bugzilla

maybe a simple API to use  for a GUI frontend with
GTK+  or to embed Bugzilla to existing applications.
Hmmm ... what about a CORBA server !? There are many
companies using bugzilla. Why not? ;))
 We can write a simple function set over the mysql api

to support the followings:

+ connect (login)
+ create bug
+ query bug
+ edit bug

This can be a way to write customized "bugzilla
client"
