I am not arguing that we should use my patch; I was merely using it to 
prove my point that the requirements of 84876 could be achieved without 
templatisation work.

...but we are sending a lot of mail, which is why the module is thus 
named. Discounting it because of its name, rather than its function, 
always seemed odd to me. But never mind.

You place "lone obstacle" in quotes, but they are not a quote from me. 
Please do not falsely attribute motives or opinions to me.
