If we're going to make this a goal, then bug 84876 automatically becomes a
2.18 goal.
This really shouldn't come as a surprise, as Gerv has been chomping on the
bit to get this in, and we've been promising 2.18 will deliver
non-suckiness in the SMTP-department for some time now.
Thus, the goals related to that, as I see them, are:
* Easier MTA config (84876)
* Templatized email headers
* All email output templatized
Bug 84876 *technically* only covers the first one; I haven't filed bugs on
the other ones, since I've been toying with the idea of just rolling goals
2 and 3 into the patch for 84876... but the more I think about that, the
more I don't know if that's such a good idea.
As for Win32, when you are triaging bugs, if you find that a bug is
necessary to make BZ work on Win32, *PLEASE* add "[needed for Win32bz]" to
the status whiteboard, so we can make that query as accurate as we can make
it for the Win32-ers.
Later,
Paul
