A multi-select list?  Those tend to be the bane of users' existences.  
Novice users don't understand them, and power users find them clumsy.  
At least one UI expert (Alan Cooper) recommends against them, although I 
think you can get away with them for small lists where every option is 
visible at all times.  Or did you have something else in mind?
