I'm with Myk - I think that Bugzillas where a bug in a product has 
hundreds of potential assignees will be the exception rather than the 
rule. Obviously, we should provide a way to turn this off and go back to 
text boxes for those sites.

I would lean towards having the list as everyone who is a member of that 
product's group.

(As a side note, I think it's high time we moved the field where you 
edit the assignee up into the main body of the bug, where the current 
text version of that field is, rather than down in the knob.)
