<p>The values available for the priority and severity fields are set
site-wide. Other custom fields can be set product-specific
though, so if you wanted a separate one for a given product you
could make a "productfoo_priority" or something to go on that
product. This would really only be needed if the different
products use different classification systems for those concepts
though.<br>

my co-bugzilla manager has managed to hack around the issue
by changing the value of the fields for priority and
severity which seems to have resolved her issue, but it
seems like a work-around to me. Based on navigation across
all the admin pages, the field values for priority and
severity should have nothing to do with the default values
for these two data items. The documentation is less than
clear on this.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
