Finished the Dutch templates months ago, but I took me an awfull lot
of time to find and configure a distro which caries bugzilla 5.2.
Just to explain: I got into problems in the past when installing
something from outside the repos via a tarball. That worked OK, but
subsequent updates of libs made a big mess. So I run away from
tarball installations as far as I can.<br>
<br>
Got it running now, but I get stuck following the installation
guide.<br>
In chapter 6.2.6 Configuring Bugzilla to detect the users's language
i read and quote:<br>
"After untarring the localizations (or creating your own) in the <tt
class="filename">BUGZILLA_ROOT/template</tt> directory, you must
update the <code class="option">languages</code> parameter to
contain any localizations you'd like to permit. You may also wish to
set the <code class="option">defaultlanguage</code> parameter to
something other than <span class="QUOTE">"en"</span> if you don't
want English to be the default language."<br>
<br>
But I have no idea where these parameters are. Is it in running
Bugzilla or is it some config file?? There is also a page on
localizations, but at that point, it refers to the installation
guide.<br>
