Collaborative tools outside of software development SUCK (a severe understatement). Bugzilla is an outstanding issue tracker (and even work-flow manager) that surpasses nearly every other (often very expensive) industry-specific product available. I'm interested in assisting in allowing Bugzilla installations to be adaptable to a more diverse set of environments without disrupting its core utility as the best bug tracking software on the planet.</div><div><br></div><div>I am <a href="http://www.bugzilla.org/status/roadmap.html#design">acutely aware</a> that most adaptation is appropriately done through extensions. My understanding is that certain fixes and enhancements to the core would not only make these adaptations easier and more fruitful, but they would help with the core focus on software defect tracking as well.</div></blockquote><div><div><div><br class="webkit-block-placeholder"></div><div>Historical qualifications:</div></div></div><blockquote class="webkit-indent-blockquote" style="margin: 0 0 0 40px; border: none; padding: 0px;"><div><div><div>Spent 10 years in software development (mostly back-end unix-y environments).
