It's also an essential feature of a task management tool.  I agree with 
Christian's appraisal of this.

We're not talking about having it generate PERT charts.  What else don't 
you want to be doing that a project management tool does?

What if we define what the next steps on that slope are, figure out how 
far down that slope people are willing to go, and then say "beyond this 
point its time to make an interface between bugzilla and some project 
management tool".
